AirLink was born out of a simple question: What happens when the world goes quiet? We're building the answer.
In 2024, our founder **Harshpal** witnessed first-hand the fragility of our modern communication infrastructure. During a severe storm that knocked out local cell towers for days, he realized that despite living in the most "connected" era of human history, we are entirely dependent on a few massive, centralized points of failure.
This realization sparked the development of AirLink. What started as a small prototype for offline Bluetooth chat quickly evolved into a sophisticated decentralized mesh networking platform. The goal was no longer just to send a text without Wi-Fi; it was to create a digital sovereignty tool that couldn't be shut down, censored, or monetized by third parties.
The principles that guide every line of code we write.
We don't just "encrypt" your data; we ensure we never have it in the first place. With E2EE and no central servers, your data never touches our hands.
AirLink is a community project. We are open-source and transparent, encouraging collaboration to solve the world's connectivity problems together.
Our network is self-healing. When one node goes down, the mesh automatically reroutes to find the next best path. It's built to survive.
